Dersin Tanımı
(Course Description)
İç mimari tasarıma veri oluşturan planlama–programlama kararları; işlev, biçim ve teknoloji kavramlarının iç mimari tasarımla ilişkilerinin farklı ölçeklerde sorgulanması; ihtiyaçların analizi ve değerlendirilmesi; iç mekan deneyimini oluşturan bileşenlerin/unsurların bütünsel olarak ele alınması; iç mimari çevre tasarımına ilişkin kavramsal araştırma, biçimsel ifade ve uygulama çalışmaları; tarihi ve kültürel değeri olan binaların güncel gereksinimleri karşılayacak biçimde yeniden işlevlendirilmesi.
Decisions concerning planning and programming which constitute data for interior architectural design; investigation of the relationships between terms such as function, form and technology through interior architectural design in different scales; analysis and evaluation of needs; holistic administration of the elements constituting the experience of interior space; conceptual research on interior architectural design, its formal expression and implementation; adaptive re-use of buildings qualified as historical and cultural heritage in accordance with contemporary needs.
Dersin Amacı
(Course Objectives)

Bu dersin amacı;

  1. İç mekan tasarımına yönelik kavramlar geliştirmek
  2. İç mekan tasarım problemini mantıksal ve sezgisel sorgulamalar yoluyla irdeleyerek çözüm üretmek ve geliştirmek
  3. İç mimari çevrede imaj ve kimlik konularını tasarım girdisi olarak tartışmak
  4. Tarihi ve kültürel değeri olan binaları yeniden işlevlendirerek iç mekanlarını tasarlamak

Course aims;

  1. To develop concepts on interior design.
  2. To produce and develop solutions to the given problems of interior space design by considering logical and intuitive queries.
  3. To investigate the issues of image and identity in interior architectural environments as design input.
  4. To design interior spaces of buildings qualified as historical and cultural heritage through adaptive re-use.

Bu dersi başarı ile tamamlayan öğrenciler aşağıdaki bilgi, beceri ve yetkinlikleri kazanırlar:

  1. Tasarım sürecinde kavramsallaştırma, araştırma ve örneklerden yararlanma becerisi.
  2. Eleştirel düşünme ve ifade becerisi.
  3. Biçimsel kompozisyon bilgi ve becerisi.
  4. Grafik anlatım ve modelleme bilgi ve becerisi.
  5. Disiplinlerarası tasarım becerisi.
  6. Tasarım probleminin çözümünde uygun seçenekleri üretme, kimlik ve üslup belirleme, senaryo oluşturma, kavram geliştirme, kurumsal kimlik ve marka kimligini mekan tasarımıyla ilişkilendirme, mekân planlama bilgi ve becerisi
  7. Tasarım sürecinde insan-iç mekan etkileşimi bağlamında ihtiyaçlara ilişkin bilgilenme ve tasarıma aktarma becerisi
  8. Tasarım sürecinin farklı aşamalarında bina sistemleri hakkında bilgilenme ve tasarıma aktarma becerisi
  9. Tarihi ve kültürel değeri olan binalarda mobilya, sabit donatılar, ekipmanlar ve bitiriş malzemeleri, renk ve ışık konusunda bilgilenme ve tasarıma aktarma becerisi

Students who successfully pass this course gain the following knowledge, skills and competencies;

  1. Ability to conceptualize, research, and use precedents in the design process.
  2. Ability to reason and articulate critically.
  3. Know-how and ability on formal composition.
  4. Know-how and ability on graphical representation and modeling.
  5. Ability to conduct interdisciplinary design.
  6. Know-how and ability to produce appropriate alternatives on the solution concerning the design problem, establish identities and styles, compose scenarios, cultivate concepts, associate corporate and brand identity with spatial design, and plan space.
  7. Ability to draw information concerning needs in the context of human-interior space interaction, and transmit the to the design process.
  8. Ability to identify with and reflect on the building system in the various phases of design processes.
  9. Ability and competency to acquire knowledge concerning furniture,fixtures, equipment, materials, finishing, and colour and light in buildings that are qualified as historical and cultural heritage; and transfer these to design.
