Seyirin tanımı. Seyirde kullanılan araç-gereçler. Denizcilikte kullanılan birimler. Yönler, rota, mesafe ve hız. Mevki çeşitleri, mevki bulma yöntemleri ve harita üzerine işlenmesi. Doğal ve yapay manyetik sapmalar. Manyetik pusula tashihi. Denizcilere ilanlar ve harita düzetmeleri. Harita kataloglarının kullanımı ve köprüüstü seyir yayınları. Fenerler ve sis işaretleri.
