Dersin Tanımı
(Course Description)
Yapı-Malzeme-Tasarım ilişkileri ve yapı malzemelerinin temel özellikleri ve malzeme türleri ile ilgili bilgilerin öğrencilere öğretildiği zorunlu bir derstir.
It is a compulsory course that teaches students about the relationships between structure-material-design and the fundamental properties and types of building materials.
Dersin Amacı
(Course Objectives)
  1. Mimari projenin tasarım ve uygulama evrelerinde, tasarımın nesnel girdileri olan yapı malzemelerinin tasarımdaki işlevini, türlerini, özelliklerini, üretim ve uygulama koşullarını, performanslarını değerlendirme becerisi kazandırmak.
  2. Yapı malzemeleri ve bileşenlerinin üretim, kullanım ve uygulamalarıyla ilgili ilke ve standartları anlama.
  3. Malzeme seçiminin tasarıma olan etkisinin kavranmasını sağlamak.
  4. Tasarımı etkileyen tüm çevresel ve insan davranışlarından gelen gerekliliklere yanıt verecek malzeme alternatiflerinden en uygun olanını seçme becerisi kazandırmak.
  1. To develop the ability to evaluate the functions, types, properties, production and application conditions, and performance of building materials, which are the objective inputs of design, in the design and implementation phases of an architectural project.
  2. To understand the principles and standards related to the production, use, and application of building materials and components.
  3. To ensure the comprehension of the impact of material selection on design.
  4. To develop the ability to choose the most suitable material alternative that responds to all environmental and human behavior requirements affecting the design.
