(Course Description)
İstatistiksel veri analizi, simülasyon modelleri geliştirmek, simülasyon modeliyle deney yapmak ve deney sonuçlarını analiz etmek.
Statistical data analysis, develop simulation models, experiment with the simulation model and to analyze experiment results.
Dersin Amacı
(Course Objectives)
  1. Verilerin istatistiksel analizini yapma becerisi kazandırmak
  2. Simülasyon modeli kurma becerisi kazandırmak
  3. Simülasyon modeli ile deney yapma ve deney sonuçlarını analiz etme becerisini kazandırmak
  1. To gain skill to statistical data analysis

Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları
(Course Learning Outcomes)
  1. Veri analizi ile ilgili olarak koşum testleri, histogram, PP ve QQ grafikleri çizmek, Ki-Kare ve Kolmogorov-Smirnov testlerini uygulamak.
  2. Belirli bir olasılık dağılımı için rassal sayıdan rassal değer üretmek.
  3. Bir sistemin benzetim modelini kurmak ve el işlemi ile çözmek.
  4. ARENA modeli kurmak ve çalıştırmak, doğrulamak, geçerliliğini sağlamak.
  5. Benzetim modelleri ile deney tasarlamak ve deneyleri koşturmak.
  6. Model parametrelerini belirlemek, sonlanan ve sonlanmayan benzetim modeline karar vermek, koşum sayısı belirlemek, güven aralığını hesaplamak ve çıktıları yorumlamak.
  7. Varyans düşürme teknikleri uygulamak: endirekt ölçüm, kontrol değişkenleri, ortak rassal değişkenler, karşıt değişkenler.
  1. Apply runs tests, sketch histogram, PP and QQ graphs, practise Chi-Square and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests
  2. Generate random numbers using random numbers for a given probability distribution
  3. Develop a simulation model of a system and simulate the system by hand
  4. Develop, run, verify and validate a simulation model using ARENA
  5. Design and perform experiments with simulation models
  6. Determine model features, terminating or non terminating models, number of runs, calculate confidence interval and interpret the results
  7. Perform variance reduction techniques; indirect measure, control variants, common random variants, antithetic variants.
