(Course Description)
Ders bilimsel çalışmaları okuyup anlayabilme, yorumlayabilme; bu çalışmalardaki içerik, kurgu, yöntem, veri toplama ve değerlendirme ölçütlerini kavrayıp özgün bir araştırma önerisi sunabilmeye dönük temel bilgi ve becerileri içermektedir.
The course includes a foundational knowledge about reading, understanding, and interpreting scientific studies with content, structure, method, data collection, and evaluation criteria on the one hand, and making an original research proposal according to this knowledge.
Dersin Amacı
(Course Objectives)
  1. Bilimsel bilgiyi tanımlayabilmek,
  2. Bilimsel çalışmaların içeriği üzerine farkındalık yaratmak,
  3. Bilimsel çalışmaların yapısı üzerine farkındalık yaratmak,
  4. Yöntembilime dönük temel bir giriş yapmak,
  5. Veri toplama, analiz ve değerlendirme ölçütlerini kavrayabilmek.
  1. To be able to define scientific knowledge,
  2. To raise awareness about the content of scientific studies,
  3. To raise awareness about the structure of scientific studies,
  4. To provide a basic introduction on methodology,
  5. To understand the parameters of data gathering, analysis and evaluation.

(Course Learning Outcomes)

Dersi başarı ile tamamlayan öğrenciler;

  1. Eleştirel düşünmeyi anlar,
  2. Bilimsel bilginin içerik ve yapısını kavrayabilir,
  3. Bilimsel yöntemler üzerine bilgi sahibi olur,
  4. Veri toplama ve değerlendirme hakkında bilgi sahibi olur,
  5. Özgün bir bilimsel araştırma çalışması altlığı hazırlayabilir.

Students who complete the course will;

  1. Understand the nature of critical thinking,
  2. Learn the concepts of scientific knowledge,
  3. Gain knowledge about the scientific methods,
  4. Gain knowledge about the data gathering and evaluation,
  5. Propose a layout for an original scientific research.
