(Course Description)
Rasyonel temelli dizayna giriş. Gemi yapısal dizaynında optimizasyon metodları. Yükleme. Tekne kirişi tepki analizi. Matris metodlara giriş. Sonlu elemanlar metoduna giriş. Burulma ve tekne kirişinin çarpılması. Plastisiti. Kompozit kiriş tekniği. Gemilevhaları, eğilme ve stabilite. Gemi yapı elemanlarının burkulma analizi.
Introduction to rationally based design. Optimization methods in ship structural design. Loading. Hull girder response analysis. Introduction to matrix methods. Introduction to finite element method. Torsion and warping of ship hull. Plasticity. Composite beam technique. Ship plates, bending and stability. Buckling analysis of ship structural members.
