(Course Description)
Vektörler. Bir ve iki boyutta hareket. Newton`un hareket yasaları ve uygulamaları. İş ve enerji. Enerjinin korunumu. Momentum ve sistemlerin hareketi. Açısal momentum ve dönme. Newton` un evrensel yer çekimi yasası.
Vectors. Motion in one and two dimensions. Newton's laws and its applications. Work and energy. Conservation of mechanical energy. Momentum and motion of systems. Static equilibrium of rigid bodies. Rotation and angular momentum. Newton's law universal gravitation.
Dersin Amacı
(Course Objectives)
  1. Basit mekanik problemlerine ilgili hareket denklemlerini yazabilme ve bu denklemleri integre edebilme
  2. Kolay integre edilemeyen durumlarda, korunum yasalarından yararlanarak ön görülerde bulunma
  1. To be able to write equations of motion for simple mechanical systems, and to integrate these equations
  2. In cases where direct integration is not feasible, students are expected to make predictions based on conservation laws

  1. Vektörler ile temel işlemler (toplama, skaler ve vektörel çarpım)
  2. Bir ve iki boyuta kinematic
  3. Newton yasalarınını temel problemlere uygulamaları
  4. Korunumlu kuvvet kuvvet kavramı
  5. Sabit bir eksen etrafında dönen rijid cisimlerin mekaniği, ve jiroskop hareket
  6. Hareket denklemleri integre edilemediği zaman korunum yasalarından yararlanma
  7. Newton evrensel çekim yasasını uygulayabilme becerilerini elde eder.
  1. Basic operation with vectors (addition, scalar and vector product)
  2. Kinematics in one and two dimensions
  3. Mechanics of rigid bodies rotating about a fix axis and gyroscope motion
  4. Concept of conservative force
  5. Application of Newton's laws to fundamental problems of mechanics
  6. Using conservation laws when direct integration of motion is not feasible
  7. Basic applications of Newton universal gravitation law
