| Dersin Tanımı (Course Description) |
Bu ders temel seviyede istatistik kavramlarına giriş mahiyetinde olup ileri işletme ve iktisat problemlerine yönelik uygulamalı metotların sunumunu içermektedir. İşlenecek konular şunlardır: Temel veri sunumu yöntemleri, olasılık ve rassal değişkenler, ayrık rassal değişkenler ve dağılımları, sürekli rassal değişkenler ve dağılımları, örneklem ve örneklem dağılımı, nokta tahmini, güven aralığı tahmini, ve hipotez testleri. | |||||
| This course presents an introduction to statistical concepts with an emphasis on the applicability of the methods to management and economic problems. The following topics will be covered: data presentation, probability and random variables, discrete random variables and their distribution, continuous random variable and their distribution, sampling and sampling distributions, point estimation, confidence interval estimation, and hypothesis testing. | ||||||
