Dersin Tanımı
(Course Description)
Önermeler, çıkarsama kuralları, yüklemler, niceleyiciler, kümeler. Tanıtlama yöntemleri, çelişkiyle tanıtlama, tümevarım. Bağıntılar, fonksiyonlar, güvercin deliği ilkesi. Çizgeler, ağaçlar. Cebirsel yapılar, kısmı sıralı kümeler, kafesler.
Propositions, rules of inference, predicates, quantifiers, sets. Methods of proof, proof by contradiction, induction. Relations, functions, pigeonhole principle. Graphs, trees. Algebraic structures, partially ordered sets, lattices.
Dersin Amacı
(Course Objectives)
Ayrık matmatiğin temel kavramlarını öğrenciye öğretmek.
To teach the basic concepts of discrete mathematics to students.
Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları
(Course Learning Outcomes)
  1. Öğrenciler var olan bir sistemi basit düzeyde biçimsel açıdan inceleyebilirler.
  2. Öğrenciler matematik açısından geçerli bir tanıt için gerekli akıl yürütme kurallarını ve tanıt yöntemlerini bilirler.
  3. Öğrenciler bağıntı ve fonksiyon kavramlarının bilgisayarcılıktaki uygulamalarını bilirler ve karşılaştıkları problemlere uygulayabilirler.
  4. Öğrenciler çizge kuramının temel problemlerini ve çözüm yöntemlerini bilirler ve karşılaştıkları problemlere uygulayabilirler.
  1. Students can examine an existing simple system formally.
  2. Students know the necessary inference rules and proof methods for constructing a mathematically valid proof.
  3. Students know the applications of relations and functions and can apply them to problems they have encountered.
  4. Students know the basic problems and solutions in graph theory and can apply them to problems they have encountered.
