Dersin Tanımı (Course Description)			Eleştirel, deneysel, yenilikçi, tasarım düşüncesinin geliştirilmesi; güncel mimari ve kentsel tasarım problemlerinin erişilebilirlik ve sürdürülebilirlik ekseninde ele alınması; karmaşık olmayan yapı/yapı grubu için program geliştirilmesi ve yorumlanması; mimari düşüncenin, program, bağlama ilişkin veriler, mekansal organizasyon, biçimsel kurgu ve tektonik özelliklerle bütünleştirilmesi; strüktür, malzeme ve teknoloji konularının tasarım süreci ile ilişkilendirilmesi; projeye özgü temsil araçlarına ilişkin araştırmaların yapılması.
			Development of critical, experimental, innovative, design thinking; addressing current architectural and urban design problems on the axis of accessibility and sustainability; program development and interpretation for non-complex structure/structure group; integration of architectural thought with program, contextual data, spatial organization, formal fiction and tectonic features; associating structure, material and technology issues with the design process; Conducting research on project-specific representation tools.
Dersin Amacı (Course Objectives)			Tasarım problemlerine çok boyutlu biçimde yaklaşabilme, tasarım problemini kişiselleştirebilme becerisini geliştirmek. Tasarım sürecinde sistemlerin (sosyal, kültürel, strüktürel, vb.) bütünlüğünü tartışmak. Tasarım kararlarının bağlam, program ve mekansal-biçimsel-tektonik kurgu ile ilişkisinin kurulmasına yönelik araştırmalar yapmak, Bir deneme-yapma-öğrenme ortamı olarak stüdyo kültürüne vurgu yapmak, öğrencilerin eleştirel, yenilikçi, yaratıcı üretimlerle güncel mimari tartışmalara katılımını sağlamak, Mimari düşüncenin üretilmesi, geliştirilmesi ve paylaşılmasında projelere özgün temsil araçlarının kullanımını geliştirmek.
