Dersin Tanımı (Course Description)			Bu ders, işletme, üretim, yönetim, yönetici ve sayısal karar vermeyi; model kurma ve modelleme felsefesini öğretmeyi, doğrusal programlama ve Simpleks algoritması, Büyük M ve İki Aşamalı Simpleks ile düzeltilmiş simpleks yöntemlerini; dualite ve ekonomik yorumlar ile duyarlılık analizlerini ulaştırma modelleri ve çözüm yöntemlerini; temel seviyede ağ modellerini ve Lindo, Excel Solver, OpenSolver for Excel ve GAMS yazılımları kullanarak çözüm bulmayı öğretmeyi hedeflemektedir.
			This course aims to teach the production and management concepts, quantitative decision making, modeling philosophy and model building, linear programming and Simplex algorithm, Big M and Two Phase Simplex Methods, Revised Simplex method, Duality and economic analysis, transportation models and their solution methods, introduction to network models, and the use of Lindo, Excel Solver, OpenSolver for Excel, and GAMS software for solving linear models.
Dersin Amacı (Course Objectives)			YA’nın yöntembilimi ile farklı matematiksel modelleme tekniklerini kullanmak üzere öğrencileri yönlendirmek, Öğrencilere sayısal karar vermede kullanılan çeşitli yöntemleri öğretmek, Sorunlara nasıl uygun çözümleri bulunacağı konusunda beceri kazandırmak.
			Guide the students in using different mathematical modeling techniques with OR, Teach students different methods that are used for numerical decision making, Make students gain skills in finding optimal solutions to problems.
